£250 raised by more crazy antics from Draig!
Martin Dwyer, of Draig Personnel Ltd, had a surprise when he visited one of his clients on Children in Need Day in 2007. Unbeknown to him, his colleagues at the Draig HQ in Caerphilly had been collaborating with the Human Resources team at Scottish and Southern Energy in Cardiff Gate Business Park prior to his visit!
Being the fun loving and charity orientated organisation that Draig Personnel Ltd is; it pledged a donation of £250 to Children In Need on the conditions that the HR Team persuaded Martin to dress up in lady's pyjamas and to have a full face of make-up...... and proceeded to parade him around each section of the 800 seat contact centre facility in his full attire!
"I was aware that it was Children In Need Day, however, I was not prepared for what awaited me on site." Said Martin Dwyer, Draig Personnel. He added, "It could of been worse I suppose as a couple of years ago, our Managing Director, ended up having his chest waxed in front of a 400 seat contact centre for the same charity! So I suppose I got off lightly."
