  • 1999 Draig Personnel was founded by Ross Porter and Claire Porter (nee Davies) in Caerphilly town centre.
  • 2000 Draig Personnel earns a place as a National Finalist in the "Shell Livewire UK" business competition.
  • 2001 Draig Personnel increases its' presence on the market by adding a second branch to the business.
  • 2002 Ross Porter, Managing Director, is winner of the prestigious "Gwent Young Entrepreneur of the Year" Award.
  • 2003 Ross Porter, Managing Director, is finalist in the "Welsh Young Business Achiever of the Year" Awards.
  • 2004 Business moves it head office function to new premises, but remain in Caerphilly town centre.
  • 2005 Draig Personnel is ranked as the 38th fastest growing business in Wales in the "Wales Fast Grow 50."
  • 2005 New website launched for the business.
  • 2006 BSi ISO9000 quality award achieved.
  • 2006 Draig Personnel is ranked as the 41st fastest growing business in Wales in the "Wales Fast Grow 50."
  • 2007 Re-branding of the business including new logo.
  • 2008 New and much improved website launched for the business.
  • 2008 Martin Dwyer appointed as a Director of the business.
  • 2008 New Cleaning Division launched to provide our clients with professional commercial cleaning solutions.
  • 2008 Steve Baker appointed as director of the Cleaning Division.

Since it began in 1999, the company has grown organically by investing in a skilled and qualified workforce and through much hard work from all those involved with the business as opposed to by acquisition. Despite its' growth, the business remains driven by the same family business principles as it was on day one.
