The purpose of the role will be to clearly identify product, customer and channel profitability, identify product and customer trends and make recommendations on course of action to be taken
Areas of responsibility will include:-
· Undertake analysis of sales and market data
· Work with minimal supervision once project activities have been agreed with the Sales and Marketing Director
· Provide the Sales & Marketing Director with a monthly report covering all commercial activities and metrics
· The provision of market intelligence, market reports and internal business reports, i.e. product sales, prices and customer performance as required
· Support the Sales and Marketing Director in the development of product forecasts and budgets for the business. Creating and distributing reports and plans to adhere to
· Review product prices and provide supporting price analysis as required
· Provide monthly sales statistics to our top merchant customers in their required formats
· Ensure all merchant rebate forms are completed accurately, in a timely fashion and then distributed to the Finance Department
· Update company price spreadsheets and communicate throughout business once prices has been amended
· Responsible for the upkeep of the daily cube
· Devise and create claimback calculations and customer matrices
Provide quantitive data on price support / claimback sales
